Taming toxins with Strawberries


Strawberries are rich in elegiac acid, a plant
compound that soaks into the cells lining your
gastrointestinal tract. Eating 1/2 cup daily
 (fresh or frozen) prevents up to 75% of the
damage normally caused by carcinogens and
toxins, says University of Kentucky researchers
